Years of Experience
I have more than 23 years in special education from being a special education teacher, to being a special education professor, to being a special education administrator of procedures and standards and 15 years advocating for children with disabilities as an advocate.
Serving Families in Multiple States & Districts
Special Education may differ from state to state to state, but the procedures and standards remain under the guidance of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) which allows me to work with families in any state. To date, I have worked with families all across the state of Illinois, the Atlanta Public School District, and the Memphis-Shelby County School Dstrict. Just a note, for the Chicago Public School District, my support is limited to consultative only.
